About Me

Hi, I’m Aliza.

My passion for makeup grew out of my theater background, and my first makeup job was painting faeries and sponging stage dirt onto hooligans in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 

I have a degree in Theater from UW-Madison. Thanks to a friend who worked at an advertising agency, I started doing makeup for commercial photography shortly after graduating. From there, I expanded to weddings, film, and opera. 

Makeup is deeply personal, and that’s why I believe that it’s a collaborative process between artist and muse. After all, you know your face best! I’ll take care of the rest.

In addition, I love teaching and empowering clients to hone their makeup skills, and I do both group and individual lessons.
